Aaron Rodgers Confident in NFL’s Security Measures in Paris

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers voiced his confidence in the NFL’s ability to handle security concerns for their upcoming game in Paris during a recent bout of civil unrest in the city. Speaking from a hotel in downtown Paris, Rodgers discussed the league’s awareness of the situation and their commitment to safety, ensuring the game could proceed if conditions were secure. “I definitely think that the NFL is alert to what’s going on. This game means a lot to the NFL. If it was unsafe, then I’m sure we wouldn’t be here,” he mentioned.

The Steelers, who had just arrived in Paris for their Sunday game against the New Orleans Saints at Stade de France, had to cancel their Friday morning practice due to adverse weather conditions. Despite the cancellation and ongoing civil unrest, the NFL matchup is scheduled to continue as planned. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed ongoing communications with both U.S. and French authorities to monitor the situation closely.
